2nd Easiest Recipe- Takatale Pith (Quick recipe with Buttermilk and Rice Flour)


This is called "Takatala Pith" (Tak= Buttermilk, pith=flour).

All you need is :
Rice Flour 1 cup
Warm Water 2 cups
Buttermilk half cup
Salt
Green chillies 1-2
Mustard Seeds (Raai) or Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Coariander leaves

How to make it:
Heat oil in a pan, put Mustard Seeds and diced green chilli. Pour the warm water and bring it to boil. add the buttermilk and stirr. Now add the rice flour and stirr. Go easily with stirring avoid the lumps. 
Add salt and liitle oil and mix everything well. Simmer it for half a minute. 
Garnish with Coriander Leaves and serve. 
You can also add Curry leaves and Turmeric powder.

My 1st easy recipe- Bhoplyacha Bharit (Red Pumpkin Salad)


It is a typical Maharashtrian dish.

You need following: 
Laal Bhopla (Red Pumpkin) 250 gms
Dahi (Curd) 1 cup
Jeera (Cumin seeds) or Raai/Mohri (Mustard Seeds)
Lal tikhat (Red Chilly powder-optional)
 Halad (Turmeric), 
Kadhi patta(Curry leaves),
Hirvi Mirchi (Green chilly)
Sugar,Salt and oil.

Peel and cook the cubes of pumpkin in pressure cooker. 
Take them out and crush them well and add curd, salt, sugar, red chilly powder and turmeric powder to it.

Tempering (Tadka)-Heat some oil in pan, add cumin seeds/mustard seeds, green chilly pieces and curry leaves.  Add this to the pumpkin-curd mixture and serve with Poli/Roti/ bread.
